What is galvanised mild steel box section and what is it used for?
Our square tube, or box section, is manufactured from S235 grade steel which has been hot dip galvanised to coat the box section in a layer of zinc to protect the box section. This gives the box section much better corrosion resistance than untreated steel.
We offer our box section range in a choice of wall thickness and dimensions to suit your project requirements.
This product can be supplied in standard lengths of 3 and 6 metres or can be cut to custom lengths at no additional charge, simply fill in your requirements when ordering on the product page.
All box sections will have an M6 hole, necessary to dip the length in the galvanisation process tank.
