What are slotted countersunk machine screws / fasteners and what are they used for?

Slotted countersunk machine screws are part of our comprehensive fasteners range; produced from steel for strength and durability and supplied with a bright zinc plated (BZP) finish for added scuff and corrosion resistance. These screws have a full thread, a countersunk head, blunt end, and a single slotted flat top.

Countersunk machine screws are designed for use with industrial and mass manufacturing mechanical screwing machines to join two or more layers of metal together, however, these can also be fastened with DIY power or hand tools.

Our range is available in M3, M4, M5,M6, M8, M10, and M12 diameters in lengths of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm,  60 mm 70 mm, and 75 mm.
