We recently had the opportunity to support a local project, and we are really pleased to have been part of it.
Bringing the track back to life
Danny, the chairperson of Friends of Wetherby BMX Track, got in touch with us about a project they were working on. The goal was clear—bring the track back to life and give it the attention it deserved.
As part of that, they wanted to install a new sign. Something simple, but important. A sign that would give the track a clear identity and show that it is an active, cared-for space.
It is the kind of detail that can change how a place feels, for both regular riders and first-time visitors.
Getting involved
After speaking with Danny about what they needed, we were happy to donate the materials for the sign.
Once everything was ready, we headed down to the track to help with the installation. It is always good to get out on site and see a project come together properly, rather than just supplying materials and stepping back.
We also captured the process along the way, from setting up to the final result.
A visible difference
With the sign in place, the impact was immediate. It gives the track a stronger presence and helps bring everything together.
It is not just about how it looks. It shows that the space is being looked after, that people care about it, and that it is there to be used.
For a community space like this, that matters.
The people behind the project
Projects like this do not happen on their own. They rely on people giving up their time to organise, plan, and get things done.
Danny and the team behind Friends of Wetherby BMX Track are clearly committed to improving the space and making it something the local community can enjoy.
Being able to support that effort, even in a small way, is something we value.
Final thoughts
It was great to be involved and to see the finished sign in place.
We are always glad to support projects that bring people together and make a positive difference to local spaces.
If you are working on something similar and need materials or advice, just get in touch. We will do our best to help.
