Adam Bolton - Cabin In The Woods

Richard's Weaving Cabin with Mezzanine Safety Screen

When it comes to combining craftsmanship with creativity, our customer Richard has taken things to another level. What started as a space to house his weaving loom has grown into a truly remarkable project — a bespoke cabin complete with an infrared sauna, full bathroom, kitchen, and even a mezzanine sleeping area.

As with all ambitious builds, Richard encountered the challenge of balancing functionality with design. One key feature of the cabin was ensuring the mezzanine area was safe while still preserving the sense of openness. The solution? A bespoke safety screen crafted using a 1" telescopic mild steel tube from metals4U.

The screen provides a strong yet discreet barrier, ideally suited to the modern and airy design of the cabin. By choosing a telescopic steel tube, Richard not only achieved the durability required for safety but also kept the overall structure simple and elegant.

The result is an inviting, multifunctional retreat that blends practicality with style. From weaving to relaxation, Richard's cabin is proof that the right materials can turn a vision into reality.

At metals4U, we are proud to have supplied the materials that helped make this project possible — and we can't wait to see what Richard creates next!
