Our range of embossed and textured decorative stainless-steel sheet provides a wide choice of designs with a raised surface finish. We stock our 304-grade decorative sheet, also often referred to as ‘rigidised’ sheet, in a dozen different designs to make sure we have just the right product for your project.
Decorative stainless-steel sheet provides a brilliant alternative to the more commonly used and known plate and sheet. Maintaining the same properties as other 304 grade products, these sheets provide a striking visual appearance to add interest and practicality for projects such as architectural cladding, interior design features, domestic and commercial catering environments, lift and escalators, cold stores, sculptural work, street furniture, panelling, and bathroom installations.
The properties of 304 grade austenitic stainless steel makes it incredibly versatile for use within a wide range of domestic, industrial, and commercial applications as it has:
- Excellent oxidisation and corrosion resistance. (For extreme and hostile polluted or marine environments, 316 grade stainless steel may be more suitable)
- Excellent weldability.
- Excellent durability, scratch resistance, and anti-graffiti qualities.
- Tensile strength of 515 (MPa) min.
- Recyclable without loss of integrity to its chemical composition.
- Easy to keep clean and sanitised.
- Maintains its microstructure throughout temperature ranges from cryogenic through to melting point.
- Non-ferromagnetic.
