Stainless Steel Grade 316 sheet is the definitive Marine Grade alloy. While it shares many similarities with the more common Grade 304, the addition of approximately 2-3% Molybdenum significantly enhances its resistance to chlorides, salt spray, and aggressive industrial chemicals.
