What is PB1 bronze tube and what is it used for?

This profile is often referred to as pipe and pole due to its distinctive shape. Our stock of bronze tubing is supplied in PB1 grade phosphor bronze in a mill finish.

PB1 has good machining properties, high strength and good corrosion resistance to seawater and brine, making it suitable for use in marine environments.

We offer a huge range of bronze piping stock in a range of sizes that can be easily selected by internal or external diameter measurements. These lengths of tube are sold with oversize external diameter and undersize internal diameter to allow for machining to nominal size stated.
