Is the brass angle easy to drill and cut?
Yes, our brass angle is typically Grade CZ121, known for its excellent machinability. This brass can be easily drilled, turned, and cut with standard high-speed steel (HSS) tooling.
What is the difference between an equal and an unequal brass angle?
An equal angle has two legs of the same length (e.g., 25mm x 25mm). An unequal angle has one leg longer than the other (e.g., 25mm x 12mm), forming an ‘L’ shape. Unequal angles are often used as a specific brass angle trim for overlapping different flooring heights or wall thicknesses.
Can brass angle trim be used outdoors?
