SIFMIG 5356 1MM ALUMINIUM 6.5KG Questions

  • Question by Ruth MacCormick on 03/03/2017.

which 1mm wire = less brittle

Hi there, which of your 2 types of 1mm aluminium wires is better for being less brittle? I have some already, which looks identical, and children in school use it to design things but it is very brittle - if they bend it back and forth, tight corners will give way completely.

I think the hardness is 40 on one product and 60 on the other - the prices are very similar.

    Thank you for your time.

    • Answer by Paul on 06/03/2017

Hi, both are fairly brittle, we do a Stainless Steel Tying Wire that is 1.2mm thick and can be bent very easily, if you put that in the search box it will bring up the produtcs
