Orders are received via the internet, processed by our customer service team based in our busy call centre and then prepared, packed and despatched by our warehouse team who work across a range of shift patterns.

What The Role Is About:

Working as part of the Customer Service team you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective service to our customers, performing daily administration tasks, order processing and updating our website and social media channels. You will be responding to customer enquiries both written and over the telephone ensuring the highest levels of customer service are provided. This role involves working closely with the warehouse team and requires you to have the ability to communicate across all levels. An attitude and determination for exceeding customer expectations is essential and a willingness to work as part of a team to achieve outstanding results.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and checking orders received from customers via the internet, phone and email
  • Answering inbound calls in a courteous and professional manner and dealing with enquiries
  • Making outbound calls to update customers on the progress of orders
  • Responding to emails from customers in a timely manner
  • Checking stock availability and progressing urgent orders
  • Working in collaboration with the warehouse to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately
  • Investigating and resolving order/delivery discrepancies
  • Resolving customer complaints effectively and efficiently
  • Working as part of a Team to support each other and working together to enhance the Customer journey
  • Developing a knowledge and technical understanding of our products
  • To develop methods to use social media to drive business to the websites
  • General administrative duties

Reporting to the Team Leader, and ultimately the Customer Services Manager, the Customer Services Adviser will deal with all customers in a manner that ensures that the Customer Services function is delivering exceptional customer service day in day out. The role is about listening to what customers want, responding in the most effective way and continuously implementing our best practice service standards. Success will be measured through consistent delivery of our products and excellent customer feedback.

Desired Skills:

We are looking for someone who is bright and enthusiastic with customer service and administration experience. Good IT skills and strong communication skills are essential for this position, along with keen attention to detail, good problem-solving skills and excellent organisational ability. You will need initiative and a willingness and enthusiasm to learn and undertake training in order to be successful in this position. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced stock controller to join our team. The stock controller will be responsible for maintaining the supply and demand of inventory, ensuring that there are adequate stocks available and manage inventory balances. The ideal candidate will be able to keep a complete detailed database of inventory and supply documentation but will also available in the goods in department to personally inspect and confirm deliveries.

Responsibilities:

The role encompasses the following key duties:

  • Enter shipping and inventory data in the computer system
  • Manage purchasing orders for incoming equipment, services, and supplies
  • Verify receipts and confirm purchase contents and orders are complete
  • Remove inventory from shipment delivery trucks
  • Arrange, sort and tidy stock locations
  • Accept, move and relocate stock
  • Ensure supplied stocks meet demand
  • Prevent overstocking
  • Keep track of inventory and supplies that need restocking
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  • Create and maintain a detailed inventory list of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies
  • Prepare inventory for deliveries and shipping
  • Ensure correct inventory is loaded onto correct delivery trucks
  • Track and ensure deliveries are received
  • Compile reports of inventory and supply balances
  • Make note of damaged inventory
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data

  • Have two years’ experience as a stock controller, receiver, or related position
  • Have a good level of IT competency, including Microsoft Office Word & Excel
  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 70 kgs
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work various shift patterns
  • Be goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Demonstrate accuracy and precise attention to detail
  • Be able to analyze and find solutions to problems and implement new systems and processes
  • Have good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking to appoint a Quality Controller to continue our drive to pick, cut, pack and despatch orders to the total satisfaction of our customer base.

Responsibilities:

The role encompasses the following key duties:

  • Monitoring the production line and carrying out regular Quality Control checks
  • Undertake a range of product inspections using a variety of testing and measuring equipment including gauges and Vernier's
  • Easily identifying a range of different metal materials (following training)
  • Working with team members to ensure they are working in line with quality procedures and undertaking training where necessary
  • Ensuring orders are produced accurately on time and are of the highest standard
  • Implementing improvements to production processes that lead to overall increases in product quality
  • Evaluating and making decisions in relation to rejected products /materials
  • Investigating causes of quality problems and proposing & implementing solutions
  • Investigating & escalating non-conformances to management
  • Satisfying customer expectations about the product's quality and delivery expectations
  • Liaising with the customer service department in the resolution of customer complaints
  • Efficiently reporting outcomes from investigations and quality procedures
  • Identifying packaging problems, suggesting & implementing improvements
  • Creating production plans for streamlining processes to guarantee quality from beginning to end
  • Assisting with plans to implement ISO9001
  • Adhering to strict health & safety guidelines

Desired Skills:

To be successful in this role as a Quality Controller you should have

  • A high attention to detail
  • Be familiar with, and able to utilise, a range of imperial and metric measurements
  • Manual handling experience in a factory/production setting
  • A basic level of IT competency
  • The ability to communicate within a team environment
  • A desire to exceed customer expectations
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and a willingness to learn and to develop yourself within the role.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is advantageous, but not essential, as full training and support will be provided at outset of employment and throughout
  • Previous experience in a quality checking role would also be advantageous in a fast-moving goods department

  • Loading vehicles for despatch of orders
  • Receiving stock deliveries - unloading, storage and stock allocation
  • Lifting and moving products up to 70kg in weight
  • Cutting made to measure items using a band saw and/or guillotine (full training provided)
  • Forklift truck driving (full training provided with qualification)
  • Keeping the working environment neat, clean and tidy
  • Adhering to strict health & safety rules at all times

As Financial Controller, you will be reporting to the Managing Director and have line management responsibility for the accounts assistant and a close working relationship with our purchasing and customer services teams.

Your responsibilities will include the preparation of timely, accurate monthly management accounts and other appropriate financial information which you will present at the monthly management meeting to the company directors. You will lead the finance team and take responsibility for the financial control of commercial operations within the business and manage your own, and the team's, day-to-day activities. You may also be required to work closely with various members of the senior management team on ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and reports with strict adherence to company policies and timetables
  • Responsible for processing company monthly payroll
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT Return
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of the business in order to derive clear and succinct analyses of the ongoing financial performance of operations

Working alongside the Warehouse Manager you will:

Reporting to the Managing Director the Procurement Manager will be clearly seen to be working alongside the Warehouse Manager to seamlessly manage the efficient despatch of customers’ orders accurately and on time. Ensuring that the company listens to what customers want, responds in the most effective way and is continuously improving, developing and implementing best practice. Success will be measured through service levels and KPI’s, the customer service ratings, customer feedback and the retention, performance and continuing development of the team through an effective mentoring and training programme that delivers improvements in skills and expertise.

As the Procurement Manager, you will have full accountability for development and delivery of the purchasing/inventory strategy whilst supporting, and deputising for, the Warehouse Manager to ensure that the warehouse and purchasing departments continuously deliver best practice and performance day in day out.

Skills

We are seeking a highly experienced procurement manager, who has extensive stock purchasing experience, ideally within the FMCG or online retailing sectors, with a knowledge of supply chain management. You will have:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong focus on controls and processes and high attention to detail
  • Up-to-date technical skills for preparing statutory accounts
  • The ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with business partners and ensuring processes are being followed
  • Commercially minded with project management experience developing systems and processes
  • Free thinker and able to influence change, make independent decisions and challenge senior opinions whilst maintaining positive working relationship
