What are zirconium sanding discs and what are they used for?

Zirconium sanding discs have zirconia grain particles as its abrasive material. Zirconia has more strength and a higher resistance to heat than aluminium oxide which makes these sanding discs a good choice for high pressure grinding and heavier grinding applications.
