  • How to bend aluminium channel

    It is possible to bend aluminium channel but not easy. To bend aluminium channel sections without warping, twisting or distorting, you will likely need specialist bending tools and techniques such as compression bending or stretch forming. Talk to our customer services team if you have a project in mind that required bending aluminium channel!

  • How to cut aluminium channel:

    You can cut aluminium channel in the same way you would any other aluminium profile extrusion, using a circular saw, mitre saw, band saw, or even a hacksaw, careful technique and suitable lubricant.

  • How to clean aluminium channel:

    Cleaning aluminium channel (or any other aluminium products) is important if you want to keep its polished appearance intact. It’s a good idea to start with simply wiping or rinsing your channel sections with warm water, as aluminium is a soft metal and can scratch easy. If this is not sufficient, specialist aluminium cleaner or a mild abrasive may be required before wiping dry to remove any streaks.

  • How to join aluminium channel:

    You can join aluminium channel using a variety of techniques including welding, brazing and adhesive bonding, or using a variety of mechanical fasteners from nuts and bolts to specialist components such as corner cleats.
